You're going to learn a few bits about why, for example, the Battle of Coral Sea is remembered (first naval battle where the enemy ships never encountered each other, all fought by aircraft; USS Lexington sunk), but they're not going to go any deeper than "headlines" like that. It's a bunch of "firsts" (first sub, first nuclear vessel, first carrier), famous quotes ("I have not yet begun to fight!"), and other milestones.
