Hey guys:
As you know NavyDEP is always looking out for future sailors (yourself) and
your family members. To keep your family entertained and motivated to write
you letters, have them join your boot camp graduation Facebook group. In the Navy, we call the boot camp graduation as "PIR" which stands for "Pass-in-Review" because you will be marching in front of the senior leadership and they will review you.

we will then get them into the correct group for your specific division when you form up.

It is so important that you get them to join the our Facebook group quickly because hotels
and car rentals book up quickly when they attend your graduation. If they wait too long, they
won't be able to find rooms to attend your graduation.

Much like how NavyDEP prepares you for boot camp, we now have established a way for
them to have fun, and prepare them to understand the Navy as well.

We teach your family members the rules, the hints, and what we recommend they buy
you for a graduation gift (ha).

For the family members that already have a recruit at Great Lakes, below is the
links to the NavyDEP sponsored Facebook groups. Come join the fun. We will get you
up to speed about the Navy, and will get you on the same page as your sailor....
