It seems they are lightning up at boot my son was only there a week and got another call, I have read on forums some got 20 minute calls, my son got a minute he called his GF, I think that is good, so its something to look forward to,

when i was at basic.. it really depended on the RDC.

We were given incentives of phone calls to excel at certain tests and stuff. it was like a morale booster that worked. unfortunately the only one i called was my recruiting office

I just talked to a frown on FB yesterday who graduated next week. He told me his division (div 804) passed inspection an yet were given the afternoon off so he went to "recruit heaven". I got to ask him all kinds of questions about 800 divisions that will help me out next month.

804 and 805 graduated yesterday didn't they? I got a couple of friends in 805 and 806

Ya you're right, I meant div 806, he graduates Friday for EOD.

Yeah, the RDCs use phonecalls to get you to do better.

We got a few chances to get an extra call, here are a few examples.

"If everyone passes the swim test we'll go to the nex and make some phone calls"

"If everyone gets a 4.0 on the test we'll make phone calls"

"If everyone passes inspection we'll get a phone call"

We earned an extra call, then somebody came back from medical with a demerit chit, lost the call ;p
