Rep Power: 286 | USS Constitution or the Ceremonial Guard duty

In boot camp, if you have the picture poster image of the Navy, then they might try to get you to serve on the USS Constitution or the Ceremonial Guard. Not many, if ever, get the chance to do this. Think now if you think you want to do this. They will only give you one chance, and you will not have time to think about it. The "thinking about it" time is now. The USS Constitution: USS Constitution is U.S. Navy's oldest ship. It's an honor to serve on her. And you must fit the Navy's poster image since everyone will see you... Very few will ever get the chance. Here is the offical Navy messages concerning it: http://www.public.navy.mil/bupers-np...s/1306-920.pdf http://www.public.navy.mil/bupers-np...1/NAV11020.txt http://www.history.navy.mil/ussconstitution/ The Ceremonial Guard: The Ceremonial Guard is a real honor also. They like getting fresh sailors to do that, ones they can form into poster picture images of the Navy. It's something every sailor should think about. It it "fits your mold", then volunteer for it, when offered.... You might want to read this.... http://ww2.dcmilitary.com/dcmilitary.../29769-1.shtml Here is the official rule on that one.... http://www.public.navy.mil/bupers-np...s/1306-907.pdf
