Once you are out of boot, you can wear your own glasses or contacts, just remember, your eye sight may change a little and they may need a new scrip...

Absolutely you can. But the Navy won't pay for them, you're on your own there. After boot you can go to base optometry and they will give you 1 free pair of glasses with a frame of your choosing to replace your BCGs with a new prescription for them. But they don't cover contacts.
