Waiver for AW

Is it possible dep in as AW with a misdemeanor drug arrest nearing a decade ago? Is there any waiver process to do this at all? I am looking for people that know the answer to this as the answers I have found have varied greatly.

I dont beleive you can become aircrew with any type of drug or alcohol related offenses in your past.
