Definitely on the G rated photos! He's working too hard for me to embarrass him or myself!

I had read some mixed information on the envelope size that they can receive. Does it need to be the small personal note size?

Envelope size doesn't matter, they will get it.

Only reason it matters is because of space.. I sent regular sized envelopes - ones the fit standard paper folded into thirds.. You know? I also sent wallet sized pictures of my daughter and I to him while he was there. I sent one a day, he still has all of them, and vice versa. He didn't send his back - I have no clue how he didn't run out of space.

You can send any size envelope you want, but if it is anything larger than a standard envelope/card envelope, the RDCs may make him open the letter in front of them to make sure there's nothing inside it that isn't allowed. Space to keep the letter is more the concern (I have yet to meet anyone who threw away boot camp letters instead of saving them).

I think I will send him a stamped envelope to send back letters/cards that he doesn't have room to store.
