Haha its not that bad. Its just like life anywhere... watch who you make friends with and where you hang and you will be golden. and don't let some girl talk you into marrying her 3 months into a relationship! Its not too big of an issue but again a lot of people just make stupid decisions. Thats all.

Just to let you know - don't think that this only happens in VB. Anywhere that there's a base whether it's Navy, Marine Corps, Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, etc., it occurs. I met my husband when he was in C school at Great Lakes and we've been married for over 20 years. And he wasn't in the Navy for 20 years either.
