My son is going into his fifth week at RTC. We just got our second letter from him. He says it is difficult but is doing OK. Everyone gets sick, and as Heather said do not go to medical. Our son said that a couple recruits were sent home after being told medical was for recruits who were really sick. Nick (son) said he has been sick most of the time but refuses to go to medical. And as some others have said, listen and do what you told, no more, no less. He said some there just don't "get it". They have excuses for why they can't "get it right", and there are no excuses in boot. He said you learn to appreciate the small things and really enjoy when you receive letters from home. So tell all your relatives and friends to write lots of letters. Best of luck to you all!!! Remember to stay focused on your goal and go get it!!!
