Not necessarily, a difference in a day could mean a week or so difference in graduating from boot camp. Some divisions at boot camp are longer than others depending on if you get put in an accelerated division or not. You have no control over this. I arrived to boot camp with about 200 other recruits. Some graduated a week before me, and a few the week or 2 after. Some 2 months due to injuries.

Once you get to corps school, there is about a month average hold on classing up. You will most likely get to see each other at corps school but probably not the same class. Also, at corps school you might make a small group of friends in the other classes, but will spend most of your time with people from your class because you will be studying for the upcoming test.
