Yep a friend of mine is a E-3 in Sea Cadets and he's going into the Navy as an E-3.

Michael was in NJROTC in high school and he entered BC as an E-3, and also was paid at that rank.

Nothing drives a Sailor more crazy than the word "Rank". We are Navy, We are Enlisted, We us "Rate".....

FIRST...great pics Emmy!
Now as far as Rank verses Rate. Isnt the "rate" your job and "rank" the level you are ie; E1, E2, E3, etc? I should know this...but it has been a L-O-N-G week!

Emmy, I'm so proud of you. Thank you for sharing and it's so cool to see you in your dress whites and hear all about your experience. Yep, Tide pens are a definite must have for anyone who wears a uniform. Bravo Zulu Sea Cadet Emmy!!!
